I forgot my mPIN, what should I do?

 If you are using the new Airtel Money app v3.0 and above:
  1. Click on the top left corner of the app for the main menu.
  2. Select Settings followed by Regenerate mPIN .
  3. Enter authentication details like your name and Date of Birth and click on proceed.
  4. You’ll receive an SMS with a 4 digit default mPIN which you must change within 48 hrs to starting using Airtel Money. mPIN can be easily changed on the app itself.
IVR/USSD Users: Getting a new mPIN is easy and can be done simply through your USSD menu.
  1. Dial*400*7# and select 3 for ‘Forgot mPIN'.
  2. Enter authentication details as First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth, last transaction amount and continue.
  3. You’ll receive an SMS with a 4 digit default mPIN which you must change within 48 hrs to starting using Airtel Money.
  4. mPIN can be easily changed by dialing *400*7# and selecting 2 for Change mPIN.
Note: - If you face any challenge while trying to reset your mPIN, please call Airtel customer support by dialing 08800012121 from registered Airtel Money number. (Standard calling charges would be applicable for this number).
